Most of our Des Peres work is upgrade replacement. The executive homes along Dougherty Ferry and off Manchester were built with cedar shake or heavyweight asphalt, and when those age out owners usually want to move up: designer asphalt with a real shadow line, synthetic shake, or a slate-look profile. We bring samples to the roof and walk the options on site rather than off a brochure.
The custom homes here often carry more than one roof system on a single elevation: a steep designer or shake field over the main block, a copper or standing-seam accent over a porch, and a low-slope section over a sunroom or three-season room. We run all three in-house, and on an HOA street we can pull a manufacturer rep onto the roof with the architectural reviewer if a profile or color question comes up.
