Commercial · TPO

Welded,
not glued.

Single-ply TPO installed fully adhered, RhinoBond, or mechanically attached, with every seam heat-welded into one continuous surface. The seams are the roof, so we do not leave them to adhesive.

What it is

A reflective single-ply membrane, heat-welded.

TPO is a single-ply thermoplastic membrane, usually white, that reflects heat instead of soaking it up. On a flat or low-slope commercial roof that reflectivity cuts cooling load through a St. Louis summer. The thing that makes or breaks a TPO roof is the seams, and we heat-weld every one of them so the membrane fuses into a single continuous surface rather than relying on tape or glue that ages out.

Fully Adhered

Glued flat to the deck.

The membrane is bonded across its full surface to the substrate. No fasteners through the field of the roof, a smooth finished look, and strong uplift resistance. The premium attachment when the deck and the budget allow it.

RhinoBond

Welded to the plates, not punctured.

Plates are fastened to the deck first, then the membrane is induction-welded down to those plates. You get the holding power of a fastened system without driving fasteners through the membrane itself, so there are fewer points to ever leak.

Mechanically Attached

Fastened at the seams.

Fasteners and plates run along the seam lines and the next sheet welds over them. The fastest and most cost-effective attachment, and the right call on plenty of commercial roofs.

Re-roofing a flat or low-slope commercial building?

We inspect the roof for free and come back with a report that says which TPO attachment the building actually needs, fully adhered, RhinoBond, or mechanical, instead of defaulting to whichever is easiest to install.
