Roofing in
Webster Groves.

Webster Groves is forty minutes from our shop and one of the most architecturally consistent neighborhoods in the metro. The Old Webster and Tuxedo Park districts have a high concentration of 1910-1930s homes, many with their original slate, copper, and tile still in place.

Working in Webster Groves

Webster Groves is where we do a lot of slate restoration work. The Tuxedo Park neighborhood especially has homes with complex steep pitches, soldered copper valleys, and original variegated slate from the early twentieth century. Many of these roofs are at the hundred-year mark and are showing failures at the south slope or at specific flashing details. We handle full re-slates, partial course-ups, and copper-detail repairs in-house.

If you live in a Webster Groves historic district, your replacement options may be constrained by local design review. We have done enough work in Old Webster and Tuxedo Park to know which manufacturers' designer slate (DaVinci Slate, Brava Old World Slate) are typically approved as natural-slate alternatives and which are not. The project consultant will tell you on site whether the route is natural slate, designer slate, or premium asphalt.
